While I already have access to YouTube, VRV, and Netflix on other devices, I love watching through my Chromecast connected through my Google Home. Just being able to say, "Ok Google, play Bojack Horseman" and immediately start binging is worth the price of admission. It has also made it easier to show silly YouTube videos on my phone to everyone in the room.

No issues with the chromcast and easy to install. Picture is clear.

fairly tech savvy but a little late to the streaming game.. found a great deal on the Chromecast and decided to see what all the fuss was about.. up and streaming within a matter of minutes (5-10).. not subscribed to netflix, hulu or anything but very happy streaming from my phone and computer - so happy that i bought two more to give as gifts (already gifted and set those up, too)

I bought the original Chromecast and hated it, I returned it over a year ago. The new one came out and I thought I would try it again because I like all things Google. This new one works flawlessly with the app. My 4 year old had no trouble at all figuring out how to send videos from her 1st gen Ipad to the TV. We now have 4 Chromecasts in the house, and have bought many for friends

Chromecast is not a computer, tablet or phone... so keeping that in mind, review it for what it is.... a casting device, and for that is great! I can have my PC casting chrome apps or sites directly to my tv. Same for my tablet or phone.... not difficult setup (though initial setup was required the first time you boot it up, and you need your phone for that) the only CON I find is that it is not an independent device, like fire tiv or other similar products... but those are features it does not advertise, since it is sold solely as a casting device, and for that is GREAT. Recommended to have at least one in your house, then you will see how useful it is.

This item is a great addition to any non smart TV. Plug it in and you can stream netflix, hulu, etc from any smartphone, tablet, or computer to your tv. It is great for quickly showing things to family or allowing you to spend time with your family to stream TV shows and movies. For the price you can't go wrong to have at least one of these in your home.

Very easy to use with my phone. Lags a bit but other than that, a great gift.

Chromecast's offer is the cheapest out there and I don't see any reason to spend more when this one does what I need. I use it for casting youTube videos and Netflix films. It will also cast photos and computer screens, all of which are necessary at different times. I like not having an extra remote, and appreciate not having to log my credit card anywhere. Works great. Do it.

The chromecast is easy to program and really fast to cast Netflix, youtube and miracast vidoes from you're device.

i bought this because i want to connect my sumsung note 4 to tv. it works great, easy to set up. Look smaller than i thought which is great. i also got it when they offered many free features including free $20 google play credit which is awesome.

The only thing that prevented me from using the chromecast more often was the lack of connection to 5ghz channel, to ensure that there would be enough speed to handle casting of longer movies and other videos. Upgrade may not be necessary for those that don't have dual band routers with 5ghz available, but I highly recommend for those that do have a router with the capabilities.

so far I'm liking this because of the easy hide away option with the magnet. streams like a champ. A+++++++++

Sets it a few minutes. Automatic updates. Small and stays hidden. Love it!
