    I'm sure by now everyone knows what this can do. A good way to turn a 'dumb' TV into a smarter device. My only annoyance is that I'm tethered to my phone to control it. I ended up putting this on a cheap black Fri TV that I hung up in my garage. When bought on sale it's impulse buy territory.

    Setup is a breeze! Very convenient for household to cast apps, screens, etc. Played cards against humanity with group via cast using Cardcast app. Very convenient! Replaced having to log into gaming console so even guests can cast.

    If you like watching stuff you stream on your computer but like seeing it on a larger screen the this product is great ... watching anime you can't watch on the regular except on a website on a 60" flat screen and not lose quality ...

    I have both nexus player and mi box and both have chromecast, but both disconnect frequently when using slingplayer to cast to tv. Chromecast on the other hand is rock solid. No disconnects. I love this product for casting to tv.

    I have purchased the Chromecast as I was tired using HDMI cable. If you have proper net speed (40-50MBPS) then its very good in casting without any lag. I used to cast HD quality videos from my laptop and never got disappointed.

    In a world where cable is really becoming useless and all you actually need is a wifi connection this is a product that will provide you with everything you want to watch and more. Works great and its tiny so you don't need extra space for something pointless like a cable box.

    If you regularly stream video from your tablets or phones and want to watch on your big screen TV, this is a great device. Maybe unnecessary if you have a web enabled smart TV, but if not this works great with no cables required.

    Upgraded from the old, more stick-shaped Chromecast to this version. Everything displays much quicker and it is still just as easy to use as previously. Fantastic companion for any of the Google Home products as well!
