    I bought this so I could stream movies off my tablet onto my TV. It does this and a lot more. The next TV I want to buy will have a Chromecast built in and i will use this one in my mom's room.

    I really enjoy being able to send my pictures or youtube, whatever is on my phone to my TV and this makes this an easy thing to accomplish. Works well and only takes a few minutes to set up. If I can do it, anybody can!

    Purchased this while traveling through FL. Brought it back to VT and hooked it up to my 'not smart' TV with my android phone. Can now view/watch pics, video, news clips that are on my phone, on the "big screen"!

    Chrome cast has opened up a way to view my favorite internet programs on my tv. Before google chrome I was limited to my mobile device which did not provide the depth that I experienced with google chrome. I have bought at least three. One for my personal use and two for family members

    I already had the first generation of Chromecast device and found it to be quite useful. I was staying with my cousin's family in NM and thought it would make a good gift, which it did. I think they're pretty happy with it, too.

    My husband had purchased one of these for our home and at first I thought it was silly, but after seeing all the access it provided for such a little price, I fell in love. I ended up buying 10 more as quick as holiday gifts!

    I've used Chromecast (previous generation that looks like a large flash drive) for almost 4 years now. I bought this one for my parents so they can cast from their phone to their TV. My mom loves it.

    What can I say. This is just my 7th purchase of Chromecast. I bought for my office, my apartment, for friends and it simply is fantastic. I specially like the part where I cast my whole cell phone directly to my TV :)

    Casting on the new Chromecast is more seamless and the streaming is so much better - it buffers less. My internet speed is the same but there is less to none buffering when I started using the new Chromecast. Highly recommended.
