Bought this to replace a roku I simply don't use in a guest bedroom. Had the old version which always worked pretty well, this one seems a little bit faster, and the new form factor makes this a little easier to hide behind the TV or other AV equipment.

I love this device. I have tried others, but this was so easy to install and use. I am using it right now as I am writing to watch a movie on my tv from my Net flix account on my tablet.

As for device itself - it does, what it's intended for; used to have a first gen of Chromecast few years back - current gen. seems to be faster and more stable

Easy to follow step-by-step directions made setup time short (under 10 minutes). Happy to say goodbye to expensive cable television bills - can stream a wide variety of channels.

Google makes great affordable products, and for the price you can't get a better media player for your TV. Even better than the previous generation Chromecast, and the mobile app is nice too.

Works great directly connected our receiver. We use to it stream google play music directly to our stereo system. Also have used it to cast directly to TVs.

I really like this product. I'm able to cast all premium channels from my IPad. Before I sued the hdmi adapter to the iPad but some apps would not work. Chromecast fixed the problem!!!!

I purchased this for my mother-in-law after she loved my Apple TV. After installing it, it’s so much easier and convenient to use your phone as a remote without installing an app!

Hook up was fast and easy. I can cast my HTC smart phone or laptop to the big screen. I have a bunch of movie I stream using Plex.and it is so easy to cast them to the big screen. Would recommend.

I would recommend this. At first I wasn't sure how it would be to set up and use. It was really simple to connect and watching programs is so easy. I wish I had known about this sooner.

I love that I can cast most any content I want from my computer, tablet or phone directly to my TV with this. Youtube is so much better when you cast it to a tv too.

Simply perfect to watch iPad on a tv wirelessly. Great solid product

Haven't experimented with it much but it was very easy to install. And accessing Netflix was no problem. We don't watch that much TV, since we tend to do everything on the computer.

Chose the Chromecast over all others based on friend recommendation.

I bought this to mirror my own iPhone. It can do most apps, but it will not allow me to mirror my apple items. That is a huge let down for me. But it is cheaper than Apple TV to cast most apps that are not available on most streaming devices already.

Bought this for a friend. Google Chromecast is definitely the best smart/streaming product out there. So easy to set up and integrates perfectly with other Google home products.

I've used chromecast since it first came out and have bought more for family members. It's a great device that offers hours of entertainment with no monthly fees. Installation is easy.

We love our chromecast, we take it anywhere we go that has a TV with HDMI. It's a must have in our house. This is our third one for our house, got it for our workout room.
