We bought this just to see if we liked streaming shows and broadcasting photos and videos from other devices to our tv. We love it. It’s easy to use also. I would recommend it.

Google Chromecast is a good streaming device. Years ago I bought a chromecast and I'm still using it. It was about time to get a new one for another TV at home. Highly recommend it.

I've had the original chromecast for years, so when the new version came I researched it online and bought it for my grandma. It is probably the single most useful tech device in her household.

Easy to use, works as advertised for casting video from your phone as well as mirroring your laptop screen or browser tab. No need for an outlet - power comes from TV USB jack.

Overall I like it. It is great to mirror my laptop to my television

This Product is so helpful, I can control what to watch off of my phone and I like it. I don't need to hook my laptop to my tv anymore. Saved me some money from buying another smart tv. (The tv I connected this item to isn't a smart tv)

If you don't have a TV with App or internet capabilities, you definitely need one of these. These will allow you to stream almost anything from your phone to the TV.

I bought and still have the original version.I bought this one as a gift. It makes any tv a smart tv and ithe has a lot compatible apps Netflix, hulu, crunchyroll, YouTube and much more.

This is the second one I bought. Very convenient when cast YouTube and other compatible apps to a bigger screen so the whole family can watch. Fast and easy to set up.

The Chromecast will meet your needs if you want to upgrade your older television into a smart TV. It has a majority of the streaming services that you have come to expect like Netflix, HBOGo, etc. Be aware that it doesn't have the Kindle app.

I decided to get a Chromecast since I was traveling for a few days and wanted to watch movies on Netflix in the hotel. It is a great device and the process to set the device up was seamless. I'm not sure if it's worth $35, though, maybe $25-$30.

Got a phone? Good. Want to stream Netflix to your TV? You got it. Want to stream your YouTubes? You got it! Want to stream your games? You got it! Want to stream your Pokémon Go? YOU GOT IT!

I needed a way to access Netflix and other streaming services, and also wanted to be able to show photos and videos from my iphone on the tv. The set up was quite simple and it works as advertised for accessing the main streaming services. Viewing photos and videos from the iphone was another story, though, since it does not work with icloud and apple's photos app. I didn't want to move all my photos (nearly 30,000) to Google photos, but found reviews of an app called photocast that connected the iphone photo app to the chromecast. This is a bit quirky but works well enough to do most of what I wanted. If you mainly use google services for all your video and photo needs, then chromecast is a simple and cheap solution. If not, then maybe look at other devices.

This does everything I need it to do. While its native capabilities are good, the best part is the ability to stream video from your phone. Highly recommended; it makes my TV useful again.

I bought this product for my daughter because we didn’t have cable for her. She absolutely loves to be able to download from her phone and at least watch something on her tv

My hair dresser told me about this item so I bought it. It's perfect! Rather than watching Netflix from my tablet, I can watch it on any TV in the house (have to plug in). Simple to use

Chromecast is great product , but sometimes your wi-fi connection can be slow.
