Good product to allow internet access to a non smart TV

I was skeptical about this Chromecast device. After purchasing one, I went back and purchased one for each TV. Nice to actually use my phone as a remote... Plus being able to cast my phone to the TV is cool.

I use this a lot for streaming with my iPad because my firestick isn’t compatible with my cable provider. Almost all apps support the cast feature.

I have both the 1st and 2nd gen chromecast. No complaints! Seamless streaming better than my Apple TV 3. Make sure you have a power source if it's an older tv.

Chromecast is easy to use. Only default is that if you are playing a movie, in the middle it’s difficult to pause or turn off. Takes a few mins for your phone/iPad/android to talk to chromecast.

I use it to watch programs I am not able to watch on tv.

I have a smart TV, but it has limited internet capabilities, so I bought this item. I plugged it in, I downloaded the app on my cell phone and was up and surfing the internet is just a few minutes. If you've got a fast internet connection you'll love this product. My only complaint, is that only one person / cell phone at a time can control the application. If you're playing music videos with some friends, for example, only one person at a time can access the app. You have to log out of the app first, then someone else can log in on their cell phone and surf the internet.

I dont like that there is no remote, however you can use your andriod phone as the remote. You can mirror youtube and anyone from your phone to tv screen

I have a Chromecast, Firestick and Apple TV. Oot of all of them I liie My Chromecast the best. In fact, I bought this one for my bedroom TV, so now I have one in both the living room snd bedroom.

This is my 2nd chromecast, absolutely love the one in the bedroom so I had to buy another. Way faster than the first generation and more reliable, must buy.

Chromecast is the perfect tool for when you "cut the cable cord" My household uses 4 streaming services, and ChromeCast works with ease & simplicity.

Bought so many Chromecast devices and have it all over my house TVs. I also carry one with me whenever I travel. Definitely recommend everyone to get it!!

Not a big fan of the chrome cast. Would more so go with firestick. Chromecast is annoying to me because when I turn off my tv after watching YouTube videos YouTube will just keep playing video after video after video. I do not know how to stop it from doing that. And it goes form recommended vid to recommended and eventually you’re just getting some weird stuff on your feed. It’s nice that it’s compatible with YouTube and Netflix and with a press of a button it’s in front of you. But I feel like Apple TV and the firestick are more user friendly.

Was easy to hook up and worked the first time we tried it with no problems. Only wish TV's had 3 HDMI connections, needed to remove DVD connection to use.

We bought for our non-smart TV to watch Netflix. It worked great. Installation process was pretty easy, and you can control through a smart phone app.

Streams whatever I can to my older TV's. I use my tablet and can pretty much cast and control anything to it. Easy to set up and easy to use.

Great option to wirelessly connect external equipment to most TVs that may not have wireless or internet capabilities, for viewing videos or images on a bigger screen. Smart phone works as a remote. Easy setup.

Is great if u don't got a DVD. And u just wanna watch movie thru ur phone. Or just wanna c pictures or even listen to music then chrome cast is for u. And cheap
