It works well with android phone. But with Mac and iOS, my choice is to go with apple tv which works lot better than chrome. I would recommend this to a friend if using with android.

I haven't got it working. It's likely not the product. Still, it's frustrating to have it and not be able to use it. Recommend to a friend? I would say, "I don't know." But, since you make me answer "yes" or "no", I said "no".

I have been using google chromecast for years now and this is a very good alternative instead of buying an expensive smart TV.

Watch Netflix every night does great job streaming from tablet or phone to TV. We actually have 2 chrome casts one upstairs and one down.

I was able to install within a few minutes. It works well with my Apple devices. The only challenge I’ve experienced is when our WiFi in the home is too slow. Then it buffers.

Before anyone slams the Chromecast, you must be aware that it's a streaming receiver, lacking a user interface. That means that your compatible devices must be able to cast content to the Chromecast device. It serves its purpose, but should you be casting content from a PC, that it needs to be really fast. It's somewhat watchable, albeit a bit of lag, using a computer with a Core 2 Duo processor. Occasionally the Chromecast receiver crashes and automatically reboots, so there may be a delay in receiving a signal, which necessitates the user to re-cast the content to the Chromecast. Otherwise it's good, and allows the family to view content.

This product exceeded my expectations... Great to have around the house... Easy to install and serves the purpose of my purchasing it!

This has opened up a worls of streaming for me! I love that the app allows my ohone to be the remote. Don't know why I didn't do this sooner.

This product is a plug and play item and is super simple to use. I would recommend this to anyone with a TV what has an available HDMI port.
