i set it up within 5 mins It works right away with great video, and sound. I used it to watch youtube on my non-smart tv, love it.

It works well with android phone. But with Mac and iOS, my choice is to go with apple tv which works lot better than chrome. I would recommend this to a friend if using with android.

I connected it to my smart TV, which already has everything. But it's so much easier to cast from my phone or Pixel-C. Netflix and Hulu work well enough to dump the cable.

Easy item to set up. Works with iPhone iPad and android. Need to download a cast app to fully utilize but most apps are compatible

What i really like about this Chromecast is that i can screen-mirror my phone with the television the Chromecast is connected to. I can literally browse the internet, and even look at photos from my phone or tablet. There have been no errors with the device, though after long use it does overheat. Gotta give it a break every now and again. But overall, the device connects with what i want it to connect with and there is a good selection of apps available through google to get me started. Links up nice with HULU, VUDU, NETFLIX, among others.

I had the original version of Cromcast and I enjoy the second generation better. It is sleeker and easier to use. Great product for those of you who have a flatscreen but not a "smart" tv.

Got this for my parents, sits in the living room and everyone uses to stream music, netflix, hulu, and HBO . its awesome.

I use this primarily to watch wrestling from Japan and the UK. It works effortlessly. It loads right away and the picture is razor sharp.

I haven't got it working. It's likely not the product. Still, it's frustrating to have it and not be able to use it. Recommend to a friend? I would say, "I don't know." But, since you make me answer "yes" or "no", I said "no".

I am not sure if the difficulty is due to my internet connection or just because the chromecast itself is sometimes slow to respond. Once it does connect, however, there are no problems.
