Cheap Whole-House Audio Option

Options like Sonos are great but are expensive, more than $100 per speaker. Chromecast Audio provides a super simple and super cheap option for whole-house audio. We have parties at our house often which can span multiple floors. It feels great walking from one floor to another when all the speakers are playing the same exact place in the same exact song. We even plugged one into a portable speaker for outdoor use on our deck.
