Honestly I was looking for an inexpensive way to stream tv from my tablet to the tv so I don't have to pay for the cable box. This was a no brainer, it pays itself. I returned my cable box and now I stream all my tv from my tablet to the tv.

I don't think I ever want to pay for cable again !! We had Dish for a long time and got tired of paying almost 200 for service that would go out if the wind blew just right.. I now just pay for internet at 50 and a few channels.. I love it!!!

This is by far the best and the cheapest way to turn your TV into a smart TV. All you need is an HDMI port and there are two options to provide power to the device. Either USB if the TV has a USB port or you can plug it into a regular outlet.

I love love love (!!!) my Chromecast. It allows easy and instant control of my TV through my smartphone..pause, rewind, fast forward..and I dont have to use the xBox or Wi controllers anymore to watch Netflix. Brilliant idea!! Great product!

Got this on Black Friday, and I am so happy I did! Paired with my Google Home Mini, we are unstoppable binge-watching machine in my house! :) Love that I can cast from my computer to my TV with just the click of a button.

I love my shows. And I love my movies even more! We have a large master bedroom that happens to have a cable hookup in the oddest of places, which is by our window! This made it hard to have are TV wired to our cable. It proved very frustrating. So, we invested in the Chromecast in hopes that it would remedy this problem. It did with flying colors! So easy to use! The movies and shows stream effortlessly, and access to our favorites are at the push of a button! If you want a product that is easy to set up and use then this is it!

This is a good, cheap alternative to other streaming options such as Roku. The integration with Android devices is an added bonus. If you are an Android household this is a must-have.

This little plug in helps transform my original TV. I can screencast right fromy phone and use other apps with it. Plugs into a small HDMI port in your TV, and hooks to WiFi with ease.

Super easy to use and no hassle set up. Best after you cast, casting is totally independent of your phone, you can do anything with you phone without interrupting cast.

I had the old chromecast model (very satisfied with it) and wanted to buy additional ones for other rooms at home. The new, 2015 design is more appealing and easier to fit in the back of TVs. Its performance is also better than the old one.

Bought the chromecast video and audio products. Great deal during the black friday sale. The audio device works very well and saw no buffering issues. The video device is much improved from the chromecast first gen and works smoothly. Easy setup procedure. Recommend this product. Good value for the price.

We're currently living in the future. (Don't try to argue with me on this one) To be able to share something from your phone to the big screen? AMAZING! Granted we still need the Chromecast to do it but hey, it's great.

Using the "cast desktop" function of Chrome browser, I can mirror ANYTHING from my pc/laptop to Chromecast. Was pleasantly surprised to see Chrome ask which screen I want to mirror to Chromecast since my pc is running 2 monitors. Also nice to see I have full use of my phone when Chromecast is streaming from "cast" enabled apps like Youtube. Hopefully Xfinity will make their tv app "cast" enabled. Will give it 5 stars when Chromecast gets a reset button. For some reason it occasionally disconnects from Xfinity cable modem, then I have to unplug the power from the Chromecast to restart it so it will reconnect to the cable modem. Great device for $30.

This new version of Chromecast is worth the upgrade as the dual band wireless significantly improves streaming in crowded wireless homes. It has eliminated video dropouts and pixeling.

It took a bit of doing, but it was finally possible to get this Chromecast to mirror what I was doing on my Samsung Galaxy onto our TV set. A great way to share photos from Facebook

I loved the whole concept of a quick and easy way to be able to connect your tv to wifi and access online content. Installation and setup is way simple. Just was not happy with the idea of having to control it with a phone or tablet, for me a remote would be better. Overall, cool concept great product.

Setup was really easy, the chromecast app is very helpful, and I'm able to cast anything on my screen, which is exactly what I was hoping to be able to do! Looking forward to using this often, much easier than connecting a computer by HDMI

I LOVE how fast it is to cast something to this device, single tap of the button and boom your ready to go. That was google's main point about this device. HOWEVER, using your phone as the remote control is ANNOYING. It almost always crashes when I use it, ill even have to reset the chromecast (as you can not restart it). This to me is it's downfall, how fast you are able to cast means nothing if you cannot control the dang thing. Having to constantly reset the chromecast when It freezes also sucks, all in all this is great for youtube mostly where you wont really be needing to use controls. Everything is a toss up once you have to start using the controls. I would recommend the Roku streaming stick (2017). Tons of apps, remote control and it also has voice input.
