Okay for the most part
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as an experiment to see whether I would stick with this for streaming or get a Roku player. I think am going to get a Roku player instead for stuff like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Now. It's nice to have for streaming unconventional media such as video off Facebook or even Microsoft OneDrive and I like streaming Spotify on it. To watch Netflix or Hulu on it however, using my phone as a remote just isn't jiving with me.

Does what it is supposed to do

This is a bare bones device as the price indicates. You will need your own smart device like a phone, tablet, or laptop to use this device. Also, it doesn't have support for older TVs without HDMI. In terms of the future this specific Chromxast doesn't support 4k or HDR. Excellent value for a device like this!
