I bought this as an experiment to see whether I would stick with this for streaming or get a Roku player. I think am going to get a Roku player instead for stuff like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Now. It's nice to have for streaming unconventional media such as video off Facebook or even Microsoft OneDrive and I like streaming Spotify on it. To watch Netflix or Hulu on it however, using my phone as a remote just isn't jiving with me.

Easy to install and to get started - especially for someone who had no idea what to do.

It is so easy to use not another remote. Connect simply to your phone or iPad. Works like a charm.

Can buy a cheap TV with decent picture and use this for streaming. Great product.

This is my 2nd Chromecast. There's not a whole lot to say. If the app/site you're using supports streaming to a Chromecast, it's as simple as tapping in the cast icon and selecting the Chromecast you want to stream to. That's it. It's a great little device that has only gotten better with the newest release. The antenna is much stronger and there's seems to be a noticeable speed increase during boot up. Highly recommended device.

Small but great device. constantly stream my mobile on the TV instead of watching vidoes on mobile

This was cheaper and used for my sons room. It does the job. He has an old iphone an iperates it from that. Only used for netflix and that works fine. It would be better if we had an android.

Put this in a 'Hobby Room' that we use sparingly but didn't have the ability to stream content. Not as quick as ROKU which just requires you to turn on the TV, but since you cast from your phone, makes searching for content quicker than using the on-screen ROKU keyboard. Pleased with the purchase for the use that it gets; if we were to use this more though, we'd probably have opted for ROKU with voice remote or Fire TV w/ Alexa.

This TV streaming device makes it easy to stream videos and photos from most services like YouTube and Netflix. This is a bare bones device as the price indicates. You will need your own smart device like a phone, tablet, or laptop to use this device. Also, it doesn't have support for older TVs without HDMI. In terms of the future this specific Chromxast doesn't support 4k or HDR. Excellent value for a device like this!

The Google Chromecast was super easy to set up. Just plug in, link to your WiFi and ready to use.

It works well to show things from your phone to your TV. Very easy to setup. Note, some new smart tvs have this capability built in.
