Absolutely best dollar invested for entertainment.

Like having a whole new line of shows to watch. Childrens entertainment alone is great, but anything online can be cast to your TV. I actually have three, one for each television. My wife loves the old Hallmark shows in bedroom. I'm 72 and don't praise too many devices. This one I do.

Worthy upgrade from the first gen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a router that has 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and put all my devices on the 5GHz band because of the speed improvement over 2.4. The old Chromecast was only 2.4GHz so it became useless to me. The new Chromecast also supports Dolby Digital+ decoding which is a nice bonus. Faster wifi and Dolby Digital+ were worth the upgrade over the old one for me. The Chromecast does a lot for $35. Definitely recommend it.
