Google has made a big leap in improving the chromecast from version 1.0 to version 2.0. Even chromecast 1.0 was very good. This one is very improved version so much better.

Kudos to Google for taking the time to perfect the specific market & seamless integration - agnostic of android or iOS. Well done!! If you haven’t completely cut the final tip off your cord — it’s simple & quite minimal — YouTube TV, add chromecast devices as needed, enthrall yourself in unlimited DVR & share the love with others (6 per YouTube TV account). Is nice to be able to cast things, but it disconnects every so often. When it does, the TV keeps playing but your device shows that's it's not even connected. Other than that is a cool product, however only the design is new.

Ive always waited to get one of these but as my friends all recommend them and I find more uses out of it I had to get one. I use it every day, so simple and easy to use.

I think this is a pretty cool product. I got it along with my Google home. I use the voce commands to control it and it seems to work pretty well. With Chromecast there's a good amount of movies and shows I can watch but I wish it has some free options. I like that i can watch shows, listen to music, play Netflix and there are lot's of great apps you can use with it. Compared to some others like Apple TV it has a little ways to go but over all for the price I really like it.

Good price and convenient to have. We don't have cable and watch everything online. Easy to hook up, able to pair with android devices for mirror casting.

Bought mine online from Best Buy. The shipment was well packed, and arrived earlier than promised. I had an earlier version Chromcaster on another TV. The new one runs noticeably faster, though hotter to the touch -- so make sure you leave few inches of space for the heat to dissipate. It's been in use for months and counting, without any problems. Oh, the setup was a cinch.

I love tihis product i can now watch you tube video right on on my TV watch a movie or anything i may be looking at i went back and bought another one very happy with it

This model is greatly improved over the original, lots of new features. Despite supposedly having better range and upgraded antennas, I am still suffering from the same connectivity issues that I had with the previous model.

Chromecast makes it so easy to watch movies from my ipad to the TV. I can get comfortable and watch the big screen with my ipad still able to surf the web if I want to.

When I got my first Chromecast early when it came out, it wasn't well adopted yet. "Casting" was a new thing. But itt had potential; I just used it on my bedroom tv to watch Youtube vids while falling asleep. Three years (?) later, this unit went into the LR and I use it to stream just about everything-media from my office PC to the home theater. Casting is now almost mainstream and this is a no-brainer buy.

This product is easy to set up and use, just follow the instruction steps (you can find on the internet) and you can watch any videos from the phone/ipad

We needed a device to mirror our andriod phone to our tv and our firestick never worked very well connecting. The chromecast has been perfect for our need

I bought this so I didn't have to sit in front of my computer to catch up on shows that I have missed. It works very well.

It works great with my Samsung Note 4, not all come with pre made apps. Also the laptop works better, even with no apps.

This chromcast is really good, more reliable connection and easy to pair, is worthy. Since i bought this, i have been streaming videos and browser from laptop and Phone.

The chromecast is cheap, fast, easy to use and setup, and works with every device. Get rid of your cable company and get one of these. You won't regret it

I specifically purchased this to be able to stream HBO now to the TV and it is a really good inexpensive way to do this. The other added benefit over some of the other similar devices is you can stream anything from a Chrome browser to your TV, not just apps that are Chromecast enabled. Setup is easy, the only issue I have experienced is getting the wifi to connect, but after a minute or two, it's fine.

After using Chromecast (1st Gen) for the last three years, It broke down. So I decided to buy the 2nd gen version (which is this one) and performs great

This is even better than the first Chromecast. I love how easy it is to cast from any device. Must buy for your television.
