    My daughter's room doesn't have a smart, modern TV. So she could not access youtube and other media she loves so much. Like Chromecast, this is easy as it uses the tablet connected to the device and watches all the media it likes through it. On an older TV the only drawback is switching the cable's HDMI source to the chromecast. Otherwise it works very well and is much cheaper than buying a new TV.
