Thank you for letting us know of the connectivity issue with your Chromecast device. This is surely not the experience we'd like you to have with our products and services.
Here are some troubleshooting that may help resolve the issue:
- Check if your phone or table is meeting the Chromecast requirements. Check the following link for the details: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/7022492
- Check for possible interference as thick walls and other devices in your home may weaken Wi-Fi signals.
- Make sure your router is within 10-15 feet of your Chromecast.
- Restart your Chromecast and your Wi-Fi router. Unplug the devices from the power outlet. Leave them unplugged for at least a minute before plugging them back in.
- Perform a factory data reset on your Chromecast then set up.
