It’s truly a plug and play but getting it set up took way too long for me. Since I have a lot of meetings I wanted to use my tv as an extra screen. I could extend a screen but it would stay on a specific webpage. Nothing like hooking up a regular hdmi which is easiest for me.

Great once you have it setup

Had a lot of trouble finalizing the installation through the Google Home app. Would not complete after following instructions in multiple places and videos. As a last resort I turned on Bluetooth and NFC on the phone and Voilà the code showed up on the TV. I don't recall anywhere or anyone mentioning either of these needed to be on. Otherwise, good since then.
