    I found that it works for Netflix and Prime. May not work to display other media even if the cast icon is displayed. You have to ensure that Google Home app is installed on your device (phone, tablet, etc.) before you can cast onto your TV. Setup of chrome cast takes about 15 minutes.

    Great for getting the full 4k out of your TV. Most TVs will not actually stream Hulu and other platforms at a full 4k. This fixed our issue and we also hardwired them, no buffering

    I have several smart home things from Amazon and Google, and while I like the Google Home more, I found this clunky and not compatible with nearly enough apps. Additionally it works from your phone which pulls serious energy from your phone. I wish it had some other app capabilities like Prime Video but I’ll live

    I purchased a Google Chromecast via the app. Everything was super easy from purchase to pick-up. The app is extremely easy to navigate and make purchases. Pick-up during the pandemic is just as easy. Store was clean and customer service is always there.

    purchased this Google Chromecast as a gift for my niece, as she told me her mother has one and she enjoys it very much. My expectation is that this latest (3rd generation) model will stream faster and provide my niece a better wireless reception.

    The Chromecast works great with an Android phone when running through the Google Home Android app. It's also possible to cast from your PC with the Chrome browser but does not cast as smoothly as with the phone app. This is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. Maybe with the next generation of Chromecast, will the performance from a PC be just as good as with a phone.

    Chromecasts are inexpensive and can be installed behind any TV. Double sided foam tape keeps the Chromecast tight and secure. It can be powered by your TV’s USB port. It’s just too easy to quickly stream video content from your phone. Your phone is the device’s remote

    This little device is a game changer! You can mirror your shows from your phone onto your tv. You can control your shoes as well. Highly recommend this if you do not have a smart tv or if you own any tv that doesn’t support Hulu or YouTube.

    Very simple device. Do not (and did NOT want a smart TV) so this provides additional functionality. Using to case from a chromebook. Simple to use. ONLY problem was loss of signal. I have added an UDMI extension cable (3 ft) so the chromecast does not sit behind the TV and no loss of signal
