If you don't know how to use one of these you should probably learn because this is how so much consuming of media is done these days. I promise that it isn't hard, you can just Google an easy guide.

Great for VR

The chromecast makes setup and the process of streaming so easy. I am not a fan of the user interface for day to day use. It does not flow from app to app like I expect.

I love it wireless to my tv from my phone. I used to run a cable old school I guess. I recommend this product. It took me a few minutes to get it working with my wi fi.

This has been happening about once every 5 or 6 hrs of play. Upgrading to Eero mesh Router has not seem to help. Maybe I am just too demanding. Going to try Firestick next.

For connectivity issues, it may be related to both the limited bandwidth caused by a congestion of your network or a possible interference. We recommend trying out the following:
- Remove some of your connected devices to free up some bandwidth space and test if you will experience the same issue. Chromecast typically requires a high speed Internet connection of at least 20 Mbps. If you verify congestion, we suggest contacting your Internet service provider for resolution.
- Check for possible signal interference. Placing Chomecast in a direct line of sight to your router and away from other possible sources of interference like a refrigerator, microwave oven, etc. might improve signal reception.

I use for casting movies and internet web videos from my pc. Using chrome is iffy for video files. It only works with mp4 mostly and buggy at that. VLC can cast and mostly works, but also buggy at times. Website videos like NBC and etc.., those work very well. Phone mirroring is quite useful too. You need decent internet and router.
