great addition to the home video arsenal

Since TIVO can't do Disney+ or a couple of the other minor streaming services, this has been a great way to add diversity to our video lineups

I can definitely say they have greatly improved usability and functionality. Was super simple to setup and begin using right away.

Great upgrade for any TV in a smart home

With google/nest devises you are able to seamlessly cast video feed and stream any video or audio services you link with your google home.

It works as it should but...

This latest version needs to be plugged into a wall outlet as well which is more cord clutter. If it’s not plugged into the wall it’ll cut out of a movie randomly and reset.

I have noticed that it takes a while for it to load videos on HD, other than that it is a great product. If you have a smart tv you can turn it on and off with your voice if you have it connected to a google home device.

Useful for wireless streaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The device works really well for casting from my Oculus Quest or from my computer when watching streaming services that aren't available otherwise on my smart TV. There's about a second delay, so it can't be used for HDMI-less gameplay, but for the purpose I bought it it works well. Bit pricey considering that's all I need it for though.

You can pause, play, etc. and show read the news from your phone on the big screen.

Google Chromecast works well with non-smart tv

This device is a lot cheaper than a new smart tv. It works well.
