This is exactly what I needed to keep my kids entertained without having them use their iPad so close to their face.

When I use NBC app to watch some series, sometimes I cast it to TV by google Chromecast. I have problems to adjust the volume, as it turns down for no reason. The I need to go to Home Google app and adjust there again.

I was skeptical about getting this again especially since it didn't seem like what I wanted, but I'm glad I did and it was a great choice for what I was looking for

Not what I expected and used once since purchased. Pre installed apps were too old by the time I used and technology wouldn’t load new apps

Love the chrome cast. They have made upgrades to the software and many apps like YouTube have an in app remote control for it

The Google Cromecast has basically turned my non-smart flat screen TV into a smart TV providing me the ability to access to the various streamng portals.

I bought Google Chrome to put in my camper. Use my phone hotspot to connect it to the TV so I so I can watch Netflix and hulu.

Smart TV's let you connect your phone but this goes a little beyond that. The built in connection may be a little sketchy at times with bad signals or some other issue but the Chromecast always provides a solid connection.

A good answer to converting a non-smart TV into one. It was a little weird figuring out how to get it to work with not having a remote, so make sure you have a smart phone that can handle set up and casting.

I have been using this product for a while now. I have no issues, fast connectivity and reliable I watch Netflix and all my Facebook videos through it.

Got this to try out streaming from phone. I purhcased this along with a Fire Stick and Apple TV. I would go with the Fire Stick. Lack of remote for this device wasn't ideal.

Got this for grandma, mainly for showing her our pictures on our android phones on her tv so she could see them better. Also works for our wayward apple family members.

This does exactly what it claims to do. It allowed me to cast hulu from my phone to a TV at my vacation home. Hulu makes that really hard now, but mobile devices have no problem.

This is my second Chromecast purchase. Chose it over Apple TV and I have no regrets. Pros: 1. Cast any content from any phone onto your TV 2. Plug and play Cons: 1. None!

Works very well but would rather not use my phone to use. Just my preference. It freezes from time to time but overall is nice to have.

I needed a way to access HBO Max since not available through ROKU. Plugged in Chromecast and my iPhone connected easily. Watching movies within minutes

I pick up HBO go & Netflix at the shore, which is nice cause we don’t have premium channels there. We do have premium at home so that is why we can see it at the shore.

When I was trying to decide which smart home platform to use, Google Home or Alexa, I bought this Chromecast. To be honest, I tried one of these before over a year ago and didn’t like it then and don’t like it now. First off, I personally think the design is dorky. It’s round and just hangs there, what a goofy design. Second, the setup process is a pain. Not hard or difficult, just a pain. Third, it just doesn’t work that well. The casting part requires a very strong internet signal to cast a PowerPoint presentation on your laptop to a big screen tv. Just not a big fan of this and cannot bring myself to recommend it.
