It worked really well, especially paired with a google nest. I was able to turn my tv on and off using my voice just by connecting the two devices on the Google Home app on my phone. I'm still able to do that, but the actual function of this device (the ability to cast from my phone to my tv wirelessly) is now spotty most times. It's now such a hassle to try to cast because I'm constantly having to reset the chromecast. Of course, this started happening now that the return period is over at Best Buy. :(

If you're experiencing spotty connection or slow streaming, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network.
