    I have both the Chromecast and Roku express. The Roku does everything that the Chromecast plus much more for the same price. Apps need to be loaded on the phone. A phone is needed for to send things to the Chromecast. Apps are already on the Roku making it easier to use. The Chromecast does what it says, there just are better products available.

    I returned it after realizing a Wi-Fi connection is needed. I should have known but the box didn't say anything about needing Wi-Fi.
