Love it! Easy to set up and use!

Just took a few minutes to set up and download app onto my phone and extremely easy to use! No more looking for remotes I can easly use with my iphone and iPad! We use mostly with the sling app but very easy to use with any streaming app!

Ok, but....

I wanted to watch content on my nice TV, not my phone. ChromeCast gave me that ability but was prone to freezing, requiring me to reset the current cast. Maybe it was my wifi set-up, or my phone, or my TV, but it became tiresome. My streaming exp is much improved with my recent upgrade to Roku Express.

An excellent investment!

Definitely recommend!

While chrome cast works great and is really good for streaming here were a few things that I did not like. It was cool that it could be linked to a google home if you have one and that your phone was basically the remote. Unfortunately you have to set up everything from your computer or phone you could not do it from the tv like you can a fire stick. Still a great product just not what we were looking for.

The Google Chromecast does, and perfectly at that. This device - the base 2018 model - is designed for screens that display 720p or 1080i. If you have a 4K screen, just get the Chromecast Ultra. Easy. The until allows me to cast videos to my kitchen TV, which is a little 24" 720p LG. I like to watch and listen to videos while I make dinner, so it's perfect. Plus, Google just enabled a feature in Google Home, in which Chromecasts like this can be linked in 'speaker groups.' That's nice. The fit is just right....a 720p TV and this unit. Thanks, Google. Thanks, Best Buy.

Chromecast

This gets the job done the only thing I don’t like is it doesn't have a built in home screen with apps which you can select...everything has to be done through a device. I understand it’s for casting but I wish they would have all of the apps built in like other streaming sticks. I used it to cast movies into my projector this summer for backyard movie nights and no issue because I was close to my wifi router.
