Can't get it to stream half the time and when I do get it to work, it disconnects half way through a movie. Would have given it 1 star but since the first generation chromecast was so good, I went ahead and gave it two stars.

Thanks for letting us know of your experience with Chromecast. We know how frustrating it can be when you experience connection issues while watching a movie from your favorite streaming apps.
There are some factors that may affect its performance during casting. You can try these troubleshooting steps:
- Toggle Wi-Fi off/on your phone.
- Exit any battery-draining applications that are running on the background.
- Turn off power saving mode on your device.
- Decrease the distance between the TV, casting device (phone/tablet/computer), and Wi-Fi router. The distance should be less than 15-20 feet (5-6 meters) apart, ideally within the same room.
- Keep your phone’s operating system up to date.
- Unplug both the Chromecast and the router from the power outlet and leave it for at least 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, plug it back in, and wait for it to completely reboot.

Google Home will turn the TV on (through the Chromecast), however it won’t turn it off unless you first manually switch to the HDMI input that Chromecast is connected to. This defeats the purpose of voice control. I expected the video casting and screen mirroring to be better quality.
