This was the 3rd of these I have purchased - this one for my fiance. These things are just so easy to use, even for him being so tech unsavvy

I like the ease of screen mirroring, but not having a remote means the device being used has to be around. For example, if there kids are watching a movie and I'm on another room they have to come ask me to pause it.

I bought this to "update" an existing one that I have had for about 8 years. The new one seems "faster" and has more connecting options.

This is my third Chromecast for another tv. I had so much good luck with the 2 previous ones I purchased another for a different tv! Works great and it's easy to use!!

This new version is faster than the first one. There is no lag between sending from the mobile device to the Google Chromecast as I experienced in the previous editions.

This is exactly what I needed. Everything I do is on my Google pixel 3 phone so I don't need cable TV. It pairs easily and quickly. Nice addition to the Google home hub.

The installation was easy and it has worked wonderfully. If you are trying to save some money, these chromecast devices are one way to do it.

Love Google chromecast. Even though I have Smart TV, it is still so much easier to cast shows from my phone apps. Take a little time to set it up, but casting is a breeze.

I purchased this as a gift. I have one myself & love using this to stream from my phone or tablet. Setup is easy, requires WiFi unless you use an Ethernet adaptor.

Great buy to stream on an older TV. The newer generation has better reception and doesn't stutter. Easy to set up and use with the Google home app.

I am going smart home but didn’t want to invest in a new smart tv yet. This was a great alternative! Turn your tv into a smart tv! Great for someone new to the smart home!

Love this, my tv is not smart but with this I can stream Netflix and watch YouTube which is great. Connects from your phone so it real easy to use.

Got this product for the second time. Works excellent with my old television. Easy to Install and the instructions for the setup are easy to follow.

I already had Fire tv but bought this for casting easily from iPhone to TV. Doesn't disappoint, any phone, now very easy to cast to TV, would definitely recommend.

Like that I don’t have to go into my grandkids room to put something on tv if they wake up in the middle of the night

Essentially, this is a streaming dongle that fits behind the TV\AV Receiver and out of sight. Streaming to it just involves selecting the "Cast" icon found in most streaming apps these days, and letting the system do its work. (one may have to install a Chromecast app that works in the background on one's phone) These days, both audio and video can be streamed through this one dongle, though due to the HDMI plug it would only work on a TV\AV Receiver. For those looking to use this one similar to the Chromecast Audio in a basic "speaker only" setup, unfortunately this would not work.

Extremely easy to set up. Works well with our tv and the apps we stream with. I will say having the Google Home app is a must.

Smartens up an older not so smart TV with simple connections to smart phones. Great for my college students that want to stream music or movies.
