Good value for the price

For whatever reason, I'm not a big fan of using my personal cell as a remote control for AV related items. The interface is simple, but sometimes difficult to locate different sources/action items. I primarily use my chromecast to cast my screen to my projector. It performs well in that regard. I'd rate it 5 stars if it included even a cheap little remote!

It did take a while for it to recognize my phone's hotspot. After a few factory resets and colorful language, I did get it to accept my signal. I am using it in my RV through my phone's hotspot. Apparently, I learned by trail and error, you cannot use the same device as the hotspot and to cast/stream. I must use my tablet for the casting and streaming. The associate at Best Buy was not aware of this unique feature...live and learn...all is good now.
