This device helps me stream YoutubeTV or directly from my browser on my desktop computer. I use my Google Home Mini to tell Google to start playing a channel on my office tv or to start playing music from Spotify. This thing is great for making a dumb tv smart.

I haven’t had any issues with video quality being an issue. I am disappointed it required having a google account/google home app to set up and function and hat it appears to track everything you stream to the device, which is linked back to your google account. Just be aware you are trading privacy for convenience. Also requires a separate usb power source that was not shown in pictures.
