I bought my first Chromecast about 6 years ago. I am not sure of new features of this newer version, but for what I needed it to do, I am satisfied. It automatically shows the Chromecast icon so I know whether an app may be screen mirrored on my TV. Or maybe that’s a feature of the app. Regardless, I am happy with Chromecast in general.
