    I recently upgraded my Chromecast to this version. I had the 1st generation Chromecast since 2012. The difference in speed is amazing. I got this on sale for $25 and it was easily the best $25 I ha spent all year. The connection speed is great and I never have issues with it cutting out or not working right away. Easy recommendation!

    Upon first look, I was dissappointed that it didn't have the magnet from the previous version. As I was going to use this for my projector. As long as you don't swap this out for something else, like a firestick, then the magnet isn't needed, but it does make it more neat when stowing it away. Just something to think about.
