But unlike HDMI connect. You aren't able to screen mirror everything. Also in places like the hospital. HDMI connect works. This will not work at all. That goes for all Wireless screen mirroring devices I have tried. I wish they would bring back HDMI cable compatibility and the Samsung Galaxy line.

This has been happening about once every 5 or 6 hrs of play. Upgrading to Eero mesh Router has not seem to help. Maybe I am just too demanding. Going to try Firestick next.

For connectivity issues, it may be related to both the limited bandwidth caused by a congestion of your network or a possible interference. We recommend trying out the following:
- Remove some of your connected devices to free up some bandwidth space and test if you will experience the same issue. Chromecast typically requires a high speed Internet connection of at least 20 Mbps. If you verify congestion, we suggest contacting your Internet service provider for resolution.
- Check for possible signal interference. Placing Chomecast in a direct line of sight to your router and away from other possible sources of interference like a refrigerator, microwave oven, etc. might improve signal reception.

I bought this so I could configure my Receiver as another home speaker, and blast music alllll across the house during parties. This works fine for that, but after using it for videos, I find I still prefer roku's interface.

For my husband’s birthday I bought the Chrome cast device so we can see the 50,000 photos the children put on the Hub on the TV. We love having the pictures showing big size on the television every 30 seconds.
