Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Chromecast works great with an Android phone when running through the Google Home Android app. It's also possible to cast from your PC with the Chrome browser but does not cast as smoothly as with the phone app. This is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. Maybe with the next generation of Chromecast, will the performance from a PC be just as good as with a phone.

Double sided foam tape keeps the Chromecast tight and secure. It can be powered by your TV’s USB port. It’s just too easy to quickly stream video content from your phone. Your phone is the device’s remote

Great for VR

The chromecast makes setup and the process of streaming so easy. I am not a fan of the user interface for day to day use. It does not flow from app to app like I expect.

Additionally it works from your phone which pulls serious energy from your phone. I wish it had some other app capabilities like Prime Video but I’ll live

I recommend these for casting on TV. Work fantastically , The ones I have had for years are still working great. Recommend to work on android devices seamlessly.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It doesn't always keep a connection to my phone, my daughter mostly uses it to sleep at night, she watches disney Jr on her phone at night to put her to sleep, and it disconnects and I have to play with it for like 20 minutes to even get it to go back to casting. Very annoying.

Here are some steps that might help improve the Wi-Fi connection for your Chromecast:
- We recommend to keep your Chromecast no further away than 15-20 feet from your router.
- Your phone and Chromecast should also be on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Decongesting your Wi-Fi network by removing some connected devices may help clear up the bandwidth. If congestion is the issue, you may need to contact your internet service provider for resolution.
Lastly, you may perform a factory reset by following the steps below:
- While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the side.
- The LED will begin blinking orange.
- When the LED light turns white, release the button and the Chromecast will begin the reboot sequence.
