GREAT FOR STREAMING

I recommend having a good strong wireless connection in your home. The cast can have some pausing if you don't have the bandwidth needed. Not fun. Well enjoy and happy casting!!

There's not a lot of games that connect with Chromecast and it sometimes lags, but if you are watching a movie or YouTube it's pretty decent. You can also still operate your phone while displaying something else.

ok w/Pixel 2 not with Samsung Galaxy Tab A Tablet

Need to watch via NBC / CBS etc app. Uses very little battery life on my phone. I originally hoped to connect my Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet, but no such luck. Too low a model, I guess.

No more computer chair.

Now I simply choose the "display on my TV" icon on the computer and get comfortable in my bedroom and watch it on my TV. Not all videos show this option.

Inexpensive Entertainment

It just takes a little while to get used to using your cell phone or tablet to cast a program to the Chromecast instead of using a separate remote control.

It works but it obviously depends on the wifi signal strenght. While it is good for all other uses, like entertainment, Im deducting a star because of this issue, maybe it could be more powerful in transmitting wireless content streams.

Three yes’ from the living room to bedroom to any part the house with WiFi— stream your favorite show, news, exercise straight from your phone! Great for you and gift to others. Definitely adding in my Christmas list!
