Much better than the first generation

The issues with buffering went away so now I can watch what I cast without the random buffering messages.

Great for basic screen sharing which is all I need

When Chrome is running, it just works. So far, it has been very reliable, in fact, more reliable than the Miracast app built into the TV.

A Best Buy employee (Teresa) showed me the Google - Chromecast & explained that this would work wirelessly. Wonderful! I was worried about tripping over wires.

Fills the gap on an older TV

You do introduce the variable of your WIFI speed but this is not an issue if you have enough speed and signal strength available.

That's enough for me. This is the 3rd one I bought for me to use with my Tvs which don't connect to internet.

I absolutely love it, it’s great for connecting my Spotify, what I’m viewing on my laptop, and all the usual uses for Netflix/Hulu. I’ve definitely gotten great use out of it!

I have bought 4 for each of the televisions in my household and they all work wonderfully. Connection is seamless and as usual Bestbuy price matches which is a win win for me. Two thumbs up!

This inexpensive device provides a quality high definition resolution. I love it and have them in all my television sets.

The setup took a little longer than I thought it should but once connected, I was good to go. Now my guests can stream their preferences in another room while I enjoy my shows.
