I use this on my moveable tv that I use outdoors. I would want to use this on my daily tv.

First you have to connect to its wifi then make it connect to yours. Why can't this be done on the TV? And not every app works with chromecast so for those you have to cast your device. It may or may not solve the problem with a hotel TV. Not to mention connecting it to the hotel wifi. I found it was just too much work and just watched stuff on my phone.
