    I bought this so I could cast local content to a TV with an active wifi network, but without an internet connection. I read several reviews and articles saying this would be possible. Well, it isn't possible, so I returned it. If you need a casting device and you will always have internet, this will work fine. If you want to be able to cast local content without an internet connection, forget about it.

    Fullfills its purpose. Just wish it could draw it's power from the HDMI port (pin 18 IIRC) rather then requiring a separate power cable.
