    With the old Chromecast the quality was reduced on 4K TV's now any photos 1080p and up show up clearly.

    I bought this to replace my ROKU and to hook up to a google home speaker that I already had. It works great and the streaming quality is good.

    This brought my 2011 "smart" LG 47" flat screen back to life. LG had pretty much pulled all features off my TV by 2018. I knew it was bad when the calendar on the TV didn't go past 2040! That's only 29 yrs from the mfg date. Having this Chromecast saved me from having to buy a new TV. Nice to be able to cast my phone downstairs to get the kids back up as well.

    Setup was easy but I wish we could power this via USB on our TV or receiver rather than plugging it in to the wall. Finding 4k content can be hard though.
