GREAT DEVICE FOR STREAMING PRESENTATIONS

Works fine, but where's the Xfinity?

Chromecast Ultra

The picture resolution with the chromecast ultra is better than the regular chromecast. However, I had to use my 5gHz channel on my wifi to get the best picture. In order to utilize all of the chromecast ultras that I bought I had to buy a range extender for my 5 gHz wifi. If you don't have higher speed wifi or a LAN connection you won't get the most out of your chromecast ultra.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried a few similar devices (Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, and Roku) and the Chromecast is by far my favorite. I mostly use it to mirror Netflix and HBO to my TV and the mirroring is smooth with no lag. The UI for the Amazon Fire and Roku is not great and the Apple TV does not allow you to browse other apps while mirroring. The Chromecast lets me start mirroring and continue to use my phone without interrupting the mirror.
