Easy to use, gets the job done

I love how you can ask Google Assistant to bring up which ever camera of your choice and have it displayed on your TV. I was expecting an UI or menu of some sorts. But there is none of that, it is all just, well, casted from your phone apps. Roku, AppleTV and others offer menus allowing for more TV screen interaction, but you won’t find that here. Googles version is just a simplistic way of getting your streaming fixes up on your TV.

Almost pointless but a cool gadget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I recently upgraded to a Smart TV and based on reviews and research I decided a Chromecast would be a perfect addition since I also got a sound bar. Since my TV is smart the majority of the product is pointless for me. That is except for the fact that I can watch stuff on my TV from my phone. The resolution is usually just better if I just stream it straight from whatever app but I can even share pictures straight to the TV with no connections... So it's been useful.
