    I purchased this unit in order to cast videos to our HD TV. The connection went well, both to the TV as well as setting it up on Google Home. Since our TV is smart and now has several apps installed, this unit probably doesn't have a purpose, but it was nice to have prior to installing the apps.

    The main reason I bought this product was to be able to turn on and off my TV with my voice (thru google home mini) and yes it totally works. In regards to the streaming quality, most of the time it is average, specially when you want to watch 4k content from YouTube or Netflix. To get the most of of this product I would suggest to pair it to a google home.
