Big upgrade

It does not have the interruption of service that the lower cost model always had. The installation was very easy, I would say easier than the previous model. So it’s worth the extra money to have the better quality of operation and image quality.

Works well, except for the power requirement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only issue I have with this device is that it requires a power cable to be plugged into an outlet as opposed to utilizing a USB port on the tv for power. In some cases this is fine, but if you’ve got a wall mounted tv with all cables hidden or routed through the wall, then it means you’ll have one cable dangling out of the tv. It does actually work with a usb cable for power, but it won’t stream 4K then.

Repetitive if you have a Roku TV

I bought it because it connects you to hundreds of streaming services/channels on the go? I guess. But I don't want TV that much at all and I have a ROKU TV. The channels are already sufficient for me. I find it repetitive to ROKU service but you might find some channels that only the chrome cast support and you really want them, then it would be your bet.

Best of the Best for 4K content

Its extra power easily handles 4K HDR streaming, so it's also more than capable at 1080p with quick startup and streaming. It's worth the extra money if you ever intend to stream in 4K, or need an Ethernet connection for your Chromecast

Nice little device

After reading reviews and watching reviews on youtube, I decided to go with it. It's a nice little device. No one won't even notice it since its hook onto the hdmi behind the tv so its like you're talking to your tv.
