    The only issue I have with this device is that it requires a power cable to be plugged into an outlet as opposed to utilizing a USB port on the tv for power. In some cases this is fine, but if you’ve got a wall mounted tv with all cables hidden or routed through the wall, then it means you’ll have one cable dangling out of the tv. It does actually work with a usb cable for power, but it won’t stream 4K then.

    The device is super light-weight and slick looking. I bought it because it connects you to hundreds of streaming services/channels on the go? I guess. But I don't want TV that much at all and I have a ROKU TV. The channels are already sufficient for me. I find it repetitive to ROKU service but you might find some channels that only the chrome cast support and you really want them, then it would be your bet.

    My new smart TV just didn't have the apps I really wanted, as I knew when I bought it. The Chromecast Ultra provides what the TV is missing, and will evolve as your smartphone does, with new apps that can cast to it emerging everyday. Love the built-in ethernet connection while still having wifi as an option. Just plug it into your AV receiver or TV and you're good to go.
