This is the only solution I could find for getting HDR10 for YouTube and DolbyVision for NETFLIX in one device. Works well for that but is more cumbersome to figure out how to run than using a simple remote. You must use a smart phone as the remote and learn how to "cast" from the applications. It just occurred to me that I don't know what happens if you get a call while casting to the TV. The upside is that you can be looking for the next video you want to play on the phone while one is playing on the TV. If the YouTube app on my TV would support HDR10 this would not be needed.

The chromecast ulltra is a must have if you have a 4k TV, the quality is much clearer, and video buffering is sped up too

I like how easy the device is to use. I don't like how you have to download an app and use your phone as a remote. I prefer the fire stick over the Chromecast

Im have really been into google tech these days over anything else. I have the home mini and wanted to see what chrome cast ultra could do. Im overall satufied withthe product it was easy to install and has the option to be hard wired into my router. 4k is an awesome concept but there are very few thing broadcasting in 4k.

I have a second model from last year and very happy with it. This year I tried to use a Third model and unit run faster, beautiful image....So far very happy

Although much pricier than than the regular Chromecast it does provide 4K support. Easy to set up and use, well worth it.

Excellent casting even when the internet has bad connectivity .. Much better video output than the regular chromecast.

This Chromecast is a huge step up from the previous models. It supports 5GHz networks, and takes Ethernet too via a port on the power adapter, and supports 4K. Previous Chromecasts would sometimes have lagging with Sony Playstation Vue, which I use for cable, and this device does not. Any streaming services load very quickly.

So far I have used it only with a regular 1080p TV that is not capable of HDR, so it behaves exactly like the regular Chromecast. However, taking into account that it is capable of 4K and HDR, I would highly recommend it for anyone with an appropriate TV or monitor. Now I bought this device to future prove myself, as I do use a high resolution phone with HDR (LG G6) and the content does look beautiful. So if you have an appropriate TV or monitor, don't hesitate and take one home.

The chromecast ultra is very easy to use. It provides great streaming right from my phone and the phone is the remote.

I can now control my TV with voice commands through the Google home. The picture is very clear and the sound is great.

The 4K streaming worked surprisingly well over WiFi. The device responds quickly and is simple to attach you device to.

I like the 4K part of if. I had the orginal Chromecast and the quality on my 4k TV was bad. Now this works perfectly.

I'm watching Netflix in 4K glory. Just be careful to place it in an area with decent reception for maximum bandwidth.

I was wondering why this was called ultra then I hooked it up to my 4K tv and then I understood. Awesome 4K streaming

Awesome piece of gadget! Love it sooo much! Helped me a lot reducing my time to navigate info in the internet and TV.

It does it job perfectly and puts in the best picture I seen on a tv. When its not in use the backround pictures on it is beautiful. I didn't think it was a good idea to pay extra for 4k but I future proof myself. The future is now and it was worth the money and glad I made the right decision.

I bought a 4K tv and now it’s like I have to get new stuff to make the image better. In order to see 4K image. It made a diffrance. My son says it’s ok

The only thing that keeps me giving the Chromecast 5 stars is that I thought the Chromecast would be powered via micro usb to usb like the Firestick, but it has a micro usb to wall plug. The TV I have the Chromecast plugged into is mounted on the wall in the living room so I have to have the wire hang down because the wire is too short to run through the in wall kit I have installed. So its kinda annoying to see the wire dangling down. So I've been just unplugging it every time I use it, thankfully I don't have to use it much or it would really be a deal breaker.
