I didn't think I'd use it as much as I do. For some reason the streaming services have better connection to this than my Xbox and TV. I wish it had playback on it, that's the only downside. Worth a couple bucks if you have a smarthome you're trying to finish off. Wait for the sales, they will come.

This chromecast ultra is the evolution: faster, better resolution and versatile. Only drawback: since it's more powerful than the standard chromecast you won't be able to power the device using a usb port from the TV. You need to plug it to an electrical outlet using adapter provided.
