    I bought this mainly because I have a smarthome and was just missing this to connect to the TV. I didn't think I'd use it as much as I do. For some reason the streaming services have better connection to this than my Xbox and TV. I wish it had playback on it, that's the only downside. Worth a couple bucks if you have a smarthome you're trying to finish off. Wait for the sales, they will come.

    OK, so the chromecast was already an amazing gadget. This chromecast ultra is the evolution: faster, better resolution and versatile. Only drawback: since it's more powerful than the standard chromecast you won't be able to power the device using a usb port from the TV. You need to plug it to an electrical outlet using adapter provided.

    During our lockdown, my children still had dance classes and taekwondo classes virtually. Not the easiest thing to do with the apps running on a mobile device or tablet. This was exactly what we needed to mirror those classes to the TV so they could clearly see what their instructors were doing
