    I had been holding on to the first gen Chromecast for a long time, but then decided to upgrade to the latest version. This device brings out the best in my 1080p TV. It loads the channels so much faster and it comes equipped to use a wired Ethernet connection, if possible. I just wish it would control my TV and home theater system as it has been mentioned on other Internet sites.

    This Chromecast does allow me to broadcast certain material from my phone which was nice if I wanted to see it on a bigger screen so that was great. However, it would get really hot to the touch being left plugged in and wouldn't connect to my 5G Wi-Fi network even though it could see it.
