Sure your phone takes a few seconds to buffer then load the shows, but the image quality is UHD and i liked trashing my remotes cause I use the phone now instead. Less junk on the nightstand. Get one.

Great for streaming!

Wish Google released an updated version though to help improve latency. But then again, it might be my home WiFi. Still something I would pick up for myself, my family, and my friends!

If I had to say anything negative, you need an outlet for it to work. Luckily, with all my items already hooked up and wall outlets pretty much taken, I had one outlet left. Works great!!!

Amazing quality picture!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this gift for my son, as he had just bought a new TV for himself, and with the up rise of streaming content I just knew, that it would have to support 4k Resolution. With this the picture is great and is flawless though the cord could be longer to reach the outlet its great all around.

Considering the only remote you have is your phone, it's not for everyone. It's very seamless though and great for smarthomes. The inclusion of an Ethernet port makes this worth it's cost as opposed to the standard Chromecast.

Chromecast used at work

It was connected to a 4 way splitter to four televisions and we used a laptop to stream to it and it worked flawlessly,

Great for casting on large screen TVs

The apps run very smooth from my ipad to my 70 inch Samsung. If you are casting onto a TV 55 inches and below, there isn't much of a difference between the ultra chromecase and the standard one. A great product and I am very happy with how it performs.
