I purchased the device back in july and I love it. Great to mirror movies from the phone to the TV.

Works well with my Google home mini! I got the Google home mini and the Chromecast Ultra as a gift for my birthday and so far I'm satisfied. The only thing I haven't figured out (if it's even possible) is how to turn on and off the tv with my Google home mini which would be convenient.

We purchased two Chromecasts this day, one for our new 4K TV and one to replace a Generation 1 Chromecast on another TV. After looking at Amazon Firestick, Roku, and others, we decided to stay with what we knew: Chromecast. So far, everything is as expected.

Bought this little device to act as a Roon endpoint for my secondary system. Works perfectly. Additionally this provides on screen viewing of artist, album, song and where available the lyrics. This is of course with Roon, your mileage may vary with other music services.

Was using a Roku Express in a far bedroom that was having a hard time with buffering/ Started using this with my Iphone and Directvnow app. It seems to be a little hesitant to accept the casting from the phone occasionally but that might be the App and not the Chromecast. Just using it in the bedroom for night time tv so it is not a problem.

I didnt know how much an upgrade from the 2nd gen chromecast this would be. Still took a chance and went ahead with the purchase. Turns out its pretty slick. Im getting extremely good quality on my 4K tv. Buffering speed IS better. No connectivity problem either (faced a few of that with earlier versions)

Works great. easy to set up and use. Seamless operation

The functions this device has appear to work well. Casting from apps and the Chrome browser work as expected. However, without local apps I find that I rarely have my HDMI switched to the device. So while it works well, it's limited utility means that it loses that battle for HDMI focus.

All I can say is it works well. Try it yourself and you’ll see.

The Google Chromecast Ultra is top of the line it has screen mirroring for Android and laptops it plugs into the HDMI port of your TV and also works with Android iPhone iPad Mac windows and Chromebook and also has 5 gigahertz Wi-Fi support for faster loading times.

Works quite well after one learns how to connect with the casting process. I connected it to an HDMI port on my receiver and have used it to watch Facebook live and YouTube from my Samsung S21. Quite a neat trick!

Some people like remotes, I'm one of them. Unfortunately in my house I'm the only one tech savvy enough to use their phone as a remote, and it caused us to have to return it. Plus, with everything be streamed from a device, rather than the item itself, it wasn't worth the hassle and was returned

Set up was easy even for a novice. It a good for streaming tv shows.

been using this device for a couple months now. its great! I would HIGHLY recommend downloading a "chrome browser" on your laptop/computer.. and then installing "chromecast extension" to mirror your screen on your TV. I also use the device to connect to my mobile phone to stream Spotify while I cook.

I love this device...I only use it for one thing though st this time and that’s to display pictures from my phone onto the flat screen. Love being able to do this from time to time! I know it has way more capabilities but that’s all I wanted it for to begin with.

This is excellent, but the Chromecast TV does everything this does, plus it has a remote, for the same price. The only reason I don't recommend it, is that you should get the Chromecast TV instead, for the same price point.

Only device that supports dolby atmos and dolby vision in the market with less than <$100 price range. Google has done great job of upgrading their chrome cast to 4K and with support of all new technologies/codecs ( HDR, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision) with latest HDCP2.2 and HDMI 2.0A support
