Makes casting movies from Netflix to television easy and fast

With this product you get everything you payed for! Easy access to streaming services and any google programs. With assistants you are easily able to tell this product what it needs to do without having to press any buttons! Works best with Netlflix though!

I recommend the cheaper 2nd generation, as it essentially does the same thing this one does. The only difference is that if you have a UHD tv and you see something in 4k then it might be a slight change in picture quality but not worth the extra 40 bucks

the google chromecast ultra is a good streaming device

I had the original chromecast device but had some problems streaming due to speed, don't have any problems with this device and now that more features have been added, i'll probably buy additional devices in the future to integrate with my Google Home devices

Love being able to cast whatever I'm watching to my tv

Chormecast is awesome. Being able to search for what you want on your phone is much easier then doing on the TV. The chormecast lets you find it easy and then throw it to the phone. The question with is this 4K worth it. Honestly, I can't see the difference in resolution so the processor speed is the only benefit over the other chromecasts.

I had trouble setting it up, cause I was connecting the wireless Wi-Fi back to itself. This was causing my Wi-Fi to lock up all the way back to my provider. Once I figured it out the system has worked effortlessly ever since. The 4K videos are just unbelievable detailed.

I was hoping, the set up was going to be easy, but had a lot of troubles making it work.

Works great with google home!!! I love having to not have to use my remote. Especially when I get home, I just ask google home to turn on the tv and you're good to go! Of if you are no where near your tv remote you can just ask to turn off the tv. Its so convenient!

Ive used it a few times, im still learning it and how to use it. But ive had to unplug it a couple of times because it got so hot it was glitching my tv, when i went to unplug the google i had to get an oven mit to hold it because it was so hot. Also every now and then with my tv if i am using one of my other hdmi ports on the tv if the google is hooked up to it the tv tries to jump back and forth on what hdmi is displaying untill i unhook the google. Its nice being able to use the google to stream and cast and what not but honestly im not really impressed, wish i would have saved or spent the 64ish$ on something else.

We were very skeptical at first that it would work but also that we would be able to install ourselves. It has been a very good investment for us and it was everything advertised. So glad to have purchased. The Best Buy salesperson was also very helpful with any questions I had.

My tv is a smart tv but having one sign in point ( my iPhone) for all my apps is great!!! Going on vacation , business trip and like me going to work gives me options during down time, hdmi hook up on a tv and a wall plug is all you need for high definition (up to 4k) tv anywhere

Google Chromecast ultra works very well stream lots

My kids were dying for me to get this so that we could actually have more interaction with our Oculus Quest Virtual Reality experience. Now, the whole family can enjoy the experience along with the user on any screen!

Works well, good picture quality. I use this every. day.

I had the old model and they worked well for few years, but been disconnecting lately so I upgraded to the newer model. It is able to connect with Ethernet cable which is so much more reliable than wifi, but it also connects using 5ghz so things are faster and more reliable than the old model. Overall it works well, no complaints.
