Have owned the previous two versions of Chromecast and they keep getting better and better. One downfall is that you need to plug in the AC adaptor as a power source because most TVs do not have enough amperage output with the built in USB ports on the TV.

I went to our Bestbuy for a different product that would have been more expensive. The salesman told me about the Chromecast and explained how it works. Just what I needed and saved some money. Thank you Bestbuy

Easy to use and got lots of good help and information from the Best Buy guys. I can finally cast from my Samsung Edge 6 which some of you know does not have any HDMI adapter that will work with it! Love this product, and I love to shop at BestBuy.

We live in an area where cable TV/internet is not available. This allows us to use our smart TV the way it was intended even though our internet is through a cell service provider.

I never owned a Chromecast before and find it difficult to get 4K content. There should be an easier way to default to 4K. But otherwise works well. I’d suggest getting normal Chromecast and not spring for the double priced Ultra.

Google Chromecast is amazing! It's surprising how having this has given us more joy! We don't have a smart tv so its nice to be able to stream things from the computer to the larger screen of the tv.

Having this device and using the app makes it possible for me to use my phone to cast and stream where ever I go. I love it and am thinking of buying a second one because of the convenience.

IThis was a birthday present for my brother who lives in Peru. He love it. He didn't have a smart TV but now with chromecast he is able to watch Netflix or his favorite videos from YouTube in his TV. I would definitely recommend this product.

I saw this for the first time in a midtown Manhattan hotel. I was there to see Springsteen on Broadway and the hotel room had Chromecast built in to the TV. What a great time I had casting Bruce videos from my phone to the big screen!!!

I purchased this, and 2 different Roku sticks to compare. If you want to tell Google home to turn on your TV, this is the item to have. You will also have to know what exactly you want to watch. For example Hey google turn on my tv, show me the umbrella academy on netflix. Otherwise you have to browse what you want to watch on your phone. Not a fan. I guess it's a personal choice but the Roku stick, and apps you can browse on your TV. It is like most cable networks, or Netflix. As far as U4k picture it was as promised, but I ended up choosing ROKU in the end for ease of use, and it's intuitive feel.

I upgraded our TV's to the Chromecast ultra from the original Chromecast. It's at least twice as fast at loading movies and YouTube videos. It's a little pricey but totally worth it. Highly recommended if coming from a older Chromecast.

This works great, I wish they would build one with Android TV. Sometimes I do miss having an actual user interface. Other than that, this works perfect for a bedroom, and using Google Assistant to stream to it is awesome.

Lack of compatible apps makes what could be great something...okay?

I love everything Google. And I previously had a regular chrome cast then ought a 4k TV and bought the ultra. Love it. Works well. I leave the TV on most the time just to play the gorgeous wallpapers that come on it. Brings life to the living room.

Bought this to stream DirecTVNow. Works, however, wasn't aware that I would have to cast the app for directvnow from my phone through the chromecast to show on the tv. Slightly annoying, but nothing to give it fewer stars about.

I purchased this to be able to screen mirror my Quest gameplay and it sure works better than the regular version. Better processor inside and it is definitely faster!! No lag, great screen mirroring option!!

You get what you paid. But, I do prefer one that can install app.

Not easy to use had to you tube a lot and still didn't work well
