I use the Chrome cast once in awhile to use Plex on my TV. I wish that the system was just built in to my TV but it's great to have the option to watch whatever I want from my phone.

Works just as advertised, cast linked accounts to rev from phone and best of all in my opinion is that it enables voice commands for TV control now!

At this time of social distancing, we watch our church service on my phone. Being able to use my Chromecast we can have service on our big screen tv.

i had an old chromecast and was nervous about getting this one thinking it wouldn't be much better but i was wrong! definitely worth a shot if you have issues with the older model

Works great for an older tv that doesn't have Chrome already and giving you the apps like YouTube to use. Never tried voice command.

This item is great. Only a slight broblem that bugs the audio and sounds terrible until I unplug it and plug it back in. Could be because I don't have a 4k tv (720) and is trying to send too much information (or something of that nature)

I bought this on black friday as an extra for my Google Stadia. FYI it will only work with Stadia if you enable a specific setting by updating the firmware.

The wifi cards in smart TV's are not reliable in my experience. What's so difficult? I have 2 Sony HDRs, but still need to use this Chromecast device. I wish it was unnecessary, but it is. Solid; happy it is an option!

If you don't want to be tied to a cable co., consider this. You can use your phone and watch anything on your TV that you can watch on your phone...only bigger.

We are still getting used to the Chromecast and not needing a remote but it’s been good! It does what we want it’s just weird not having menus

Upgraded from the First Gen Chromecast to this bad boy, and its definitely worth it! Videos load faster, and the 4K youtube content looks spectacular.

Love having a chromcast again after having the first gen. This isn’t exactly a huge upgrade but then again having a direct Ethernet port in the back helps with streaming.

This is great after I have canceled all my cable services and uses the online streaming subscription instead. Connectivity is good, and the output qualityy is great!

I purchased this Google Chromecast Ultra to enhance the functionality of my TV, in that I wanted to watch more of everything and it is great. I am glad that I purchased this.

I replaced my standard definition Chromecast with this one. Connection time is much faster on the new 4k model. Great value, in my humble opinion.

You can tell the difference for sure. The wireless and wired option didn't change for me though. It still buffered some content either way at 250mbps up/down.

After the purchase of Chromecast I am able to use Google Home to control my TV to a great extent such as turning tv on/off, changing volume, play pause forward rewind Netflix etc.

I love this thing!!!! Makes life easier and I was able to expand its capabilities even further with a google home mini. Best $40 I ever spent!!!

So not a lot of smart tvs, streaming devices or consoles have the crunchyroll app so this is perfect for it or to cast anything from your phone

I was able to mirror my phone by casting. However, I couldn’t cast my son’s google meets from his summer camp. Something about his school Google Email Type preventing the feature.
