If you are looking to be able to "cast" games to your TV - this is NOT what you want. If you are wanting to "cast" HD video/movies/etc - this is DEFINITELY what you want!

Nice to have the ethernet port on the charging brick as well now, although streaming Netflix 4k over AC WiFi hasn't had any noticeable performance issues.

I have been using chrome cast devices for a few years. I ha e never been dissatisfied with them. It still holds true with this one.

Moved away from my gen 1 Chrome Cast. Stayed with this product line because I generally use to cast recently missed episodes from NBC & CBS. This is a much better product.

It’s very easy to set up and picks up good signal from my wifi. I wish it can play movies from my itunes though. Very few free movie apps can play with chrome.

Works very well. I would think any bad reviews is because of ppl that expect something different from it. I use it with my Google Home Mini to cast. Wish it had better support for multichannel audio.

Totally unaware Chromecast existed! Friend told me about it. Researched the product & you guys had what I needed. Salesman explained how to install, took it home..done!

Recently switch off cable tv and went with online options, purchased for my non-smart TV and works great. I like option of Ethernet connection to help with HD streams

Good for TV's that are not smart and have the now common features. Perfect for a Tv that is used in the garage or outside that is not as new.

works as advertized....no great shakes tho...i bought a nividia later on...once i was more familiar with all the options, for streaming devices.

With the help google home and google assistant on my phone. I’m able to stream my security cameras/ movies /etc with voice commands - great device / reliable

Easy to setup and get going, chrome-cast portion not very stable, needs improvement, never managed to get the Guest mode to work, even though the steps are simple, it just doesn't connect / act well.

Easy Installation and provides another alternative to assist with Zoom meetings and watching from computer for training purposes.

Pretty good system for setting up streaming TV. Interface was a little quirky but seems to be smoothing out. Kudos to Google for including the ethernet adapter that Amazon forces you to buy separately.

I bought this for 4K capability but I found out that my TV already could do 4K netflix. I may use it for travel but I am not really using it right now.

I thought this was an option to replace my cable, but this is not it. It works great, but maybe it's my Internet but the show are often choppy. I still like it as an option, but I will keep my cable for now.
