I can take it anywhere and rely on it. I can almost play anything on it with no problem. If your a Google user more than an Amozon, you will love this!

Pretty good system for setting up streaming TV. Interface was a little quirky but seems to be smoothing out. Kudos to Google for including the ethernet adapter that Amazon forces you to buy separately.

I bought this for 4K capability but I found out that my TV already could do 4K netflix. I may use it for travel but I am not really using it right now.

Solid product to upgrade a dumb tv to a smart tv. Simple to install, inexpensive, and does a good job upgrading an older.

I thought this was an option to replace my cable, but this is not it. It works great, but maybe it's my Internet but the show are often choppy. I still like it as an option, but I will keep my cable for now.

Instead of sitting at a desk or hunched over my phone I can cast my favorite YouTube channels to the TV & it's way quicker than using the YouTube app on the SmartTV.

the item is a breeze to set-up. i am unable to cast Hulu at the moment. but it might just be operator error. stay tuned.

Needed a 2nd device for our master bedroom. We rarely use that TV but based off the value it was a great buy with great features.

I'm disappointed that the chromecast is not able to cast some types of video. I keep seeing a black screen with a blue casting logo. not sure if it is a compatibility issue.

I have had far less issues with the original chromecast I purchased. Currently I have this in my garage which is closer than my bedroom to the wireless router yet the original chromecast has better connection. It works most of the time, but it has issues that my original chromecast does not. With this being an updated version I expected it to work smoother and with less difficulty when casting. When using built in apps like youtube I have had no issues. Mlb.tv has been an awful experience, but that might have less to do with this product and more to do with the app.

I I have to hand it to Google. They have an outstanding product that gives so much more flexibility for tv entertainment. I have a total of 5 Ultras on all our TVs.

This is manageable compared to other streaming devices. At least I can stream contents from my phone to my tv. I did not really see much difference compared to Roku for instance.

I have 3 of them an bought another one to travel with it is compact an can watch all my streaming series while in different locations even overseas.

Amazing! Especially because who needs cable when you have all the apps on your phone and it’s easy to stream them on your TV !!

Depending on your tv mount arrangement, this style may be easier or harder for you. Ours is hardmounted on the wall, and it was difficult to get plugged in. Functionality is pretty much the same.

This is a great product to use in synchrony with Google pixel and also google home which is why I bought. When using them together it creates a great google experience.

Works perfectly as long as you have a great internet hookup and router in your home.. Do not waste your time chasing any solution without adequate bandwidth.

Put this on a TV that was already tagged as "smart" by Vizio but not compatible with a Google Home device. We are able to "ChromeCast" to the TV but it will drop signal from time to time. That causes us to reset the ChromeCast "puck" but unplugging it. It is nice to tell Google to start netflix or youtube on my TV but it is not enough in that google cannot seem to manage Hulu or other content providers at this time. It also can't switch my Vizio TV from one HDMI to the Chromecast HDMI without my intervention with the remote. Voice control with Google, while "neat" is not mature enough yet.

The Chromecast Ultra was easy to install. We have the 1st edtition Chromecast and the features on the Ultra works better with new Android tablest and phone,
