This is a great product to use in synchrony with Google pixel and also google home which is why I bought. When using them together it creates a great google experience.

Put this on a TV that was already tagged as "smart" by Vizio but not compatible with a Google Home device. We are able to "ChromeCast" to the TV but it will drop signal from time to time. That causes us to reset the ChromeCast "puck" but unplugging it. It is nice to tell Google to start netflix or youtube on my TV but it is not enough in that google cannot seem to manage Hulu or other content providers at this time. It also can't switch my Vizio TV from one HDMI to the Chromecast HDMI without my intervention with the remote. Voice control with Google, while "neat" is not mature enough yet.

Very easy to install. Why did I wait so long???? I could have funded another college education with the cable bills I paid.

Needed it for my Att Now subscription. It's the only device right now that can cast to your tv with that service. Works great.

This works as described. Bought for my daughter going away to school. She is able to stream everything through this device.

Google Plus Chromecast seems to work fine. I usually just use it to cast Netflix from my laptop to the television, so it is probably capable of much more.

Have been using it for more than 2 years and works great except a minor issue that sometimes it could not connect to home wifi and had to restart it

Love that I was able to quick turn our old media room - with a non connected TV - into a multimedia powerhouse room the whole family can enjoy!

Streaming couldn't be any easier with this device. Just search for the item your casting and your ready to go.

My wife uses this to stream some workout Vids that she has on an app and it works perfectly. She loves it so I love it.

I really liked the Chromecast, but FireTV is where it is at! Don't skimp, get the most expensive FireTv you can find, you'll thank me later.

Purchased this product because we have a new 4k TV. Playback occasionally skips and pauses too much for our liking. Could not tell the difference in quality from this model and the previous model.

Google Chromecast is awesome and definitely the best streaming device. I love that i can use my phone as a remote to stream any application.

I honestly do not notice that much of a difference between the regular and the ultra, yes I have a 4K ultra tv. If I were to buy again I would probably stick to the regular model for half the price.

Excellent tool for broadcasting charts and schedules to large screens. With the added RJ45 connection it can even be used in locations where the Wi-Fi is spotty.

This Chromecast device does a very nice job. It is better than the Chromecast audio devices, which seem to constantly have network connectivity issues. The Ultra is dependable and good at doing it's job.

this is by far one of the greatest additions to my collection of google software the purchase was very easy!!

The UHD was skipping in netflix until we updated the firmware on the Sony TV. If your sound system has firmware be sure to update that too. Other than that it works as well as a regular chromecast.

BROUGHT THIS TO USE FOR MY VR HEADSET. THE SCREENSAVER WAS GREAT TOO. SHOWS ALL MY GOOGLE PHOTOS THE FAMILY LOVES THAT..
